I was chatting with a bunch of Mums at the gym this morning, and a common theme came up…
Mother’s Day = garden time.
So many of the women I talk to every day are carrying so much.
Stress.
Mental overload.
That constant go-go-go feeling.
They come in wanting to feel stronger, eat better, have more energy, which is exactly what we help them do.
But........ here’s something that doesn’t get talked about enough: You can be doing all the “right” things, but if stress is running the show…...your body still struggles.
High cortisol (your stress hormone) affects your sleep, your weight, your mood, and how your body recovers and functions.
So while yes—your workouts matter.
And yes—your nutrition matters.
One of the best things you can do for your health? Reduce stress. Even just a little.
So today, be mindful.
Take a breath.
Put your bare feet in the grass.
Say no to something that drains you.
Say yes to something that fills your cup.
Whatever that looks like for you, make space for it. Because strong and healthy isn’t just about your body. It’s about your whole self.
What’s one thing you’re doing today to slow down and reset?
PS: Im creeping in the Lilac bush because it smells amazing!
