When the workouts you used to love stop loving you back

I want to tell you about Julie.

Julie is someone who had been consistently working out for a few years doing HITT training, but over time she started to feel like it just wasn’t right for her body anymore.

She deals with arthritis. She’s had knee injuries. And a number of other aches and pains that comes from living a busy life in 2026

And instead of feeling stronger, she was feeling beaten up. Fatigued. Constant little injuries popping up. Even though she enjoyed the class energy she had enough of the injuries, aches and pains.

So she made a change.

About nine months ago, Julie joined our small group strength training and added in some personal training. And the difference has been huge!!

Her pain isn’t the same anymore. She actually looks forward to her workouts. She’s stronger than she’s ever been. Her energy is through the roof. She shows up consistently, pushes herself in the right ways, and keeps hitting goals she didn’t think were possible anymore.

It’s been amazing to watch.

I’m sharing this because I know there are so many women who feel like this right now.

You’re still working out.
You’re still trying.
Maybe peri-menopause/menopause has rolled around, injuries are lingering, and the programs that used to work just don’t anymore.

That doesn’t mean you have to resign yourself to this is how it is now.
It usually just means your body needs something different.
