I want to share a little about one of our awesome Members Sophia and her Postpartum comeback story.
Sophia is a busy mom of three, a working professional, and a fur baby mama, with a life full of all the beautiful chaos (some days more chaos than beauty) that comes with raising small children, managing a household, a career, and everything else on her plate.
She worked out at Delta all through her third pregnancy, but after a challenging C section and postpartum recovery, coming back felt overwhelming. Group fitness didn’t seem like something she was ready for, physically or mentally. She wasn’t sure where to begin.
So she started with personal training. Just her and Coach Sam. One on one sessions gave her the time, space, and support she needed to rebuild strength and confidence without pressure or comparison.
Slowly but surely, she started to feel like herself again. She kept showing up, even with all the challenges that were thrown at her. Even though juggling three little ones, a dog, a job, and everything else is no small feat. Her commitment, paired with Coach Sam’s accountability and encouragement, made all the difference.
And now? She’s back in group classes and thriving. Just this week, she lifted her first 25 pound weight. Her confidence is soaring. Other members are noticing how strong she looks and how good she’s feeling.
This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been hers. And we are so incredibly proud of her.
