I’ve been noticing it lately.
The gray skies. The darker mornings. That just can’t be bothered feeling that creeps in this time of year.
And it’s not just the weather. It’s everything.
The busy schedules, the endless lists, the way your body feels heavier when the sun disappears at 5pm.
The other night I had plans to take the kids to the park after work. Nothing big, just one of those rare evenings when everyone was home and the weather wasn’t freezing yet.
But I didn’t.
I sat on the couch instead.
I told myself I’d earned it, that I was tired. And I was. But later, when the house was quiet, I felt that little twinge of guilt. Like I’d missed out on something small but meaningful.
That’s the tricky part about this time of year. We start skipping the things that actually make us feel alive. The walks. The workouts. The laughter. The connection.
And slowly, it all starts to add up. We move less, we feel worse, and then we move even less.
The good news is, it doesn’t take much to turn that around.
A brisk walk. A good sweat. Twenty minutes lifting weights. Even one class at Delta.
Movement sparks energy, and that spark spreads to everything else in your life.
So if you’ve been feeling tired, flat, or just off lately, that’s your cue to move a little. Your body is asking for it.
Schedule you free intro with me today and I can show you how we can help you shake of the grey and make this challenging seasons ahead bright!

PS: Movement first, energy second. That’s the order.
